At NW Electronics, we want every customer to feel confident when shopping with us. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help. This Refund & Returns Policy explains how returns, exchanges, and refunds work for all purchases made through our website.
- Returns Eligibility
You may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order if the item meets the following conditions:
- The product is unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging
- All accessories, manuals, and included items are present
- The product is not listed as a non‑returnable item (see below)
Items that have been used, installed, modified, or damaged may not be eligible for a full refund.
- Non‑Returnable Items
For safety, hygiene, or manufacturer restrictions, the following items cannot be returned:
- Opened ink or toner cartridges
- Clearance or final‑sale items
- Items damaged due to misuse, improper installation, or unauthorized repair
If you’re unsure whether your item qualifies, please contact us before sending it back.
- CB & 10‑Meter Radios
All CB radios, 10‑meter radios, and communication equipment are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Because these products require specialized testing and diagnostic procedures, defective radios must be returned directly to the manufacturer for warranty evaluation and service.
NW Electronics does not perform in‑house diagnostics or warranty repairs on radio equipment. If your radio arrives defective or develops an issue during the warranty period, we will assist you in contacting the manufacturer and provide any documentation needed to process your claim. - Defective or Damaged Items
If your product arrives defective, damaged, or not as described, contact us within 7 days of delivery.
We may request:
- Photos or video of the issue
- The order number and product SKU
- A brief description of the problem
Once verified, we will provide a replacement or refund as appropriate.
- Restocking Fee
All non‑defective returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee or $5.00 — whichever is greater.
This fee covers inspection, repackaging, and processing costs associated with returned merchandise.
The restocking fee does not apply to defective items that qualify for manufacturer warranty service. - How to Start a Return

Please include:
- Your name
- Order number
- Product SKU
- Reason for return
- Photos (if applicable)
We will reply with return instructions and an RMA number if approved.
- Return Shipping
- If the return is due to defect, damage, or our error, we cover return shipping.
- If the return is for buyer’s remorse (changed mind, wrong item ordered, etc.), the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
We recommend using a trackable shipping method. NW Electronics is not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.
- Refund Processing
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of approval or denial.
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 3–5 business days.
Please note:
- Shipping fees are non‑refundable unless the return is due to our error
- Refund times may vary depending on your bank or card issuer
- Exchanges
If you need to exchange an item for a different model or product, contact us first. In most cases, exchanges follow the same process as returns. - Order Cancellations
Orders can be canceled before they ship.
